Yea that was good. I love her use of language and her social geometry. The little ego trip she went on at the end should have been cut off tho don't you think?
Perhaps there is a chance of getting her ideas implemented on an effective scale during the Obama administration.
Steven Dinan is awesome...he should join up with Steven Johnson who is equally awesome and radically good looking.   What a thinker/communicator he is.

As we move into an evolutionary mode our political systems, institution of marriage, education, commerce and our religions are moving beyond the oppositional structures that diminish the development of the critical, analytical facilities, and that inhibit the natural flow of truth through rigid identity fixation. We are moving on from the stultifying forms of religion to a geometrically progressive evolutionary spirituality...which will infuse all human endeavor from child rearing, to growing carrots, to venturing into space. Virtue and reGenerosity is infinite in its life supporting, heart opening and soul growing redesign. We can see that the exploitive meme merely builds ego-armor, deprivation consciousness, control and is limited by its inhibition of the natural flow of truth. But the heart recognizes truth, and the heart is unlimited, leading the way to a more en-souled civilization.

Conditioned-reactives find the unknown future threatening, while full-brain creatives find it thrilling. Enlightened society is brought about via whole-brain, full senses, nature unity and cosmic connection, and thus we overcome our fear of death. When fear of death is no more, spirit can freely play through us to build increasing love, meaning and purpose within an autopoietic and socially cohesive whole. When soul is the great attractor, we lose interest in security and power functions, and opening to greater soul becomes our principle focus in life. The multitude of moral and technological problems we face today can be easily solved by becoming cosmically lucid and sane.

We are fundamentally perceptual beings, and it is only by theory and dogma that we have been separated from the reality of our senses and nature. We make heartless, immoral choices because we hear no other voices than our beta brain conversation. It is our disengagement with the world and separation from nonhuman elements, through the process of abstraction that divides us from the awe of full sensory perception. Profoundly immersed in sensual interaction with the world, we will no longer have to fear that we are alone and separate, as our senses saturate us with the undeniable richness of existence.  In The Spell of the Sensuous by David Abram, he suggests we reimmerse ourselves intimately with the land, root ourselves in the soil, breathe in and interchange air with all creatures bound to this earth. We must open ourselves to our elemental perceptual experience if we are to preserve and honor the earth, respect ourselves and nature, and if we are to live fully and survive.
