Cooperation is a win/win game. Healthy competition is a win/lose game. Pathological competition is a lose/lose game. So we have people that don’t mind hurting themselves, as long as they can hurt others too. Suicide bombers and school-rampage types that ‘go postal’ rather than just commit suicide fit into this category. The expression ‘sore-loser’ comes to mind. At what point does healthy competition turn pathological? I think it begins with an attitude: Healthy competition says “Oh well, you win some and you lose some” Pathological competition is more like: “Failure is not an option”.

I guess it also has something to do with the 'stakes' involved. For really important stuff, we cannot 'afford' to lose. We should only be 'gambling' with that which we can afford to lose. If there's too much on the line, people cannot handle losing. It's too much stress and they crack.

In pyramid structured societies "getting on top" is the name of the game on all levels, with whatever status advantage you can throw at the other. People form clans (clubs, churches, corporations, cults, cliques, armies) so they are more likely to get on top. The addictive chemistry of winning replaces the deep bliss chemistry of spiritual unification. The euphoria generated by the apparent sense of winning is justification enough for using competitive, spiritually underhanded means. This is so because individuals engaged in vying for status-power are still in prepersonal and personal levels, which is essentially tribalism. They still haven't been through the death-rebirth process which allows them to be born into the global family of post-national identity...and operate from the universal Self. Instead such reptilian clawing the way to the top is marked by conformism, materialism and externalism and so it becomes its own cage. Although the individual engaged in negative competition feels they are fighting for their freedom, they are really just boxing themselves into an institutional way of life that prevents sovereignty. "Exclusion" is the dark side of belonging!

We are socialized into these evolutionary dead-ends on national and even global scales...and it is the resultant frustration of truncated evolution that is the driving power behind war. For under these circumstances we must hate ourselves, and project our demons onto an enemy, which we then scapegoat to release the tension. Such is the mechanism behind the Israel and Palestine crisis...and behind all conflict. Though a lack of self knowledge we construct superficial societies that prevent the perturbation of consciousness necessary for immersion in the impersonal death-rebirth process, then we relieve the tension of our stagnation/regression in the unconscious, irrational, default method of war. The conscious way to construct a civilization is to build the evolutionary process into its structure, as was done in the gnostic pagan days prior to the reign of the temple religions, by incorporating depth-immersion into the annual cycle through the positive use of mind altering rituals, music, substances and celebrations in coordination with the cosmic rhythms. cigar

This is a powerful exposition Jana. Depth-immersion in the unconscious unified field is the cure for pathological competitiveness.  Isn't this supposed to be the purpose of meditation, prayer, and even sleep? Perhaps consciousness itself is the culprit. I suspect that the modern worship of consciousness has gone too far. Perhaps this whole idea that we should make conscious, all the contents of the unconscious has the problem backwards. Heresy, I know...

"I suspect that the modern worship of consciousness has gone too far. Perhaps this whole idea that we should make conscious, all the contents of the unconscious has the problem backwards."

Consciousness is only the vehicle...we seem to perfect consciousness largely by screwing up first and then making adjustments. Progress in consciousness is fast, but also very slow...in that acts of more mature/deeper consciousness have to be repeated many times throughout a lifetime, and then the next generations seems to imbibe the gains and take on from there. We appear to be in somewhat of a regression at present because we are still in a materialistic-security period and we haven't yet done our shadow work...because our energy has been wasted in denial and indulgence. As the structures of society become more people and progress friendly, instead of being parasitic and preditory, the people will then unwind from their retreat and start to follow their daimonic vocation. When this happens we will see a great surge in the growth of creativity, honesty, expression and happiness. This will only happen however if the people themselves rise to their own sovereignty and demand accountability from their leaders...by being unafraid of the machinations of the matrix. The key to success is not to "get on top of other people" but to get on top of the zeitgeist and live more from a universal timeless standpoint. This makes the blocks, bumps and terrorizing-propaganda simple fuel for the road.

Get on top of the zeitgeist. I’m thinking that mastery of social interactions is a matter of recognizing all the different species of thoughtforms; the zeitgeist being just another thoughtform. The idea is that each thoughtform has its own character and that recognizing and responding to the peculiar ‘perspective’ is the key to avoiding surprises. A thoughtform is a perspective that is colored by emotion and unconscious content. A perspective on steroids, as it were.

Reading these things correctly is not usually easy, and if you get it wrong, all bets are off. Even if you get it right, only experience with a particular thoughform can give insight on how it responds to different stimuli. It’s like interacting with a wild animal. I would make the analogy to the idea of the ‘horse whisperer’ – the goal is to become a sort of ‘thoughtform whisperer’ – the Dr. Doolittle of psychological complexes. That’s my idea of social mastery.

Getting on top of the zeitgeist—Social mastery depends on where you are coming from, whether you are pathological or not and how well you can digest shadow. It is possible to work positively with what others are presenting to you by understanding the motivation behind their thought, behavior and energy. Knowing where they are coming from and working positively with it, doesn't necessarily mean they will like you however. It makes it easier to understand if one classes people by age, meme, spiral dynamics, socioeconomic level, gender etc...then you’ll notice that people pretty much act within these qualifiers. Seeing the “context” of relating makes life a lot easier, there are less surprises and you can predict the outcomes of various interactions. People are generally predictable within the psychological circumstances and limitations within which they operate. Then one needs to work out how we ourselves are going to relate to these various "types."  The more philosophy one has under ones belt, as far as thinking for oneself and self-education...the less generic we become...then it is possible to relate beyond mere knee-jerk sound-bites stimulated by the various psychological parameters. Meta-psychology, meta-history and philosophy combine to expedite sovereign relationship.

Jung says that philosophy is just a modern form of myth. The myth is, in this model, the ‘flower’; it’s the conscious or semi-conscious manifestation that is ‘rooted’ in the invisible unconscious content. The vibe or psychic aura of the person is like the fragrance of the flower. In other words, it’s possible to infer a person’s mythic inventory without asking many questions. At least sensitive people can do so.

The next step is to test different responses from the various mythic mindsets to various stimuli and then take note of mythic category, the stimulus and the reactions and/or responses.

Equipped with this knowledge, a person can know how to act in order to get various responses. And how not to act so as to avoid other responses/ reactions.

Ok, so it’s just another one of my harebrained schemes, but it makes sense on paper, don’t you think?

Yes, there are the archetypes...these are genetic personalities born to fulfill their parts in the cosmic play...the archetypes get crystalized over time in the human psychosocial realm like snow on a snowball.
This is only useful if you know the meta-chemistry of your particular archetype and how it relates to other archetypes on the world stage. But the play is always contained within the particular weather, moon, season, solar cycle and daily global zeitgeist...combined the the recent influx of information that generates mood. Thus you can see with so much to take into account around each relational-transaction most of our relating is not viewed within a meta-context, but occurs through unconscious drives and automatic responses. To actually rise to a meta-relating ability one would probably need training and practice...or to be born into a family or community of sovereign individuals.

Our outlook and value system and priorities dictate our neurochemistry, which determines our mood...in a circular feedback loop. Joy counteracts the myopia of narcissism by empathetically opening the heart and senses to the world and others. Joy is the essence of our humanity and the thermometer of a life well lived. Joy is the measure of our liberation from conditioning, shoulds, historical trauma, social stress and collective madness. Compassion and joy are generated by the philosophy of sovereignty. Thus in gaining the confidence to engage in sovereign relating, it is compassion and joy that will be our guide in navigating our social sphere. Because with an open heart we can not only play a larger part on the world stage, but we also become transparent to ourselves and so choice is amplified beyond mere reactivity due to unconscious forces.

Evolvement requires us to use stress for growth rather than allowing survival and status stress to lead to regression. Problems, if approached proactively, can open up our thinking to the new and different, rather than passively allowing stress to lead to regression. Thereby producing foreword movement to create new lives and new worlds. Hierarchy is a fact of life, and it an't ever going away in such a diverse universe. However as humanity grows up we will develop a more healthy benign approach to hierarchy in all its forms. This will however require genuine spiritual evolution and a heightened self-aware perspective. Evolution means when hierarchy and power differential is at issue we take the positive advantage or win:win solution, rather than the negative advantage such as win:lose or lose:lose. Unfortunately in the short term we will probably see a rise in petty bureaucracy and stronger power plays by state officials, employers and workmates. But do not be intimidated. Widen your view to see the changing behavior within the context of the psycho-economic pressures of the times. Do your sovereignty practice and be determined to not react with subservience or aggression. But use the stress to arrive at new creative solutions that upgrade the chi-IQ and increase regenerosity and well-being for all. Diversify, experiment, explore and venture forth.

Subordinates, those that are presovereign, will often use a passive aggressive style in vying for power. You are probably very familiar with how people use double-speak to try and get a dig. As you are talking to them they will talk about some other subject while implying some nasty thing about you, rather than coming out directly and insulting you to your face. You can tell it’s a dig every time because of the underlying energy used…for the dig may be verbal, but the attack is energetic. Rather than calling them on their behavior, or defensively bringing the poison to the surface conversation, there is a means of handling this which works good over the long term, but you have to try and use it repeatedly with the same toxic offender. Simply affirm the positive of whatever demonic projection the individual is using at the time, using the language of inclusion. This neutralizes the poison. The attacker may think you’re crazy for apparently not “getting” their dig. But slowly they will learn that they cannot sink your ship and so will go onto other forms of entertainment and leave you alone. You have essentially neutralized or “cleansed” the sociosphere and evolved humanity by doing this, rather than allow yourself to be poisoned by the security fears of others.

Because we are out on a limb and moving into new territory, we are not likely to get very far on the sovereign journey without the use of positive projection. The paranoid projection of the prepersonal reptilian brain and limbic system largely involves security, status, sex and food. At the prepersonal level there is considerable anxiety and fear about needs not being met or pride being hurt. In order to maintain our health and evolution while navigating the sociosphere in a presovereign society, it is a must that we draw on the vision of what could be and infuse our daily interactions with the power of that vision. Of course it can’t just be narcissistic fantasy, for that will simply have an analgesic effect with little forward movement. Rather this Positive Projection Practice (PPP) involves greater intimacy with our psychic and spiritual levels by incorporating Inner Arts, meditation, breathing, dreams, active imagination and good-will. In bed prior to sleep is a good time to focus on this and taking melatonin prior to PPP amplifies the experience and benefits. You need to build the connection between the opening heart and the prefrontal lobes using slow deep-breathing, with one hand on the heart the other on the solar plexus. While generating the Heart-PFL plasma connection you can do the Inner Candle or the Horns For Humor practice (See Exercises)…keeping the mind’s eye in the prefrontal lobes and drawing energy up the back of your head. Take any conflict you may be under and see the Other and yourself operating from the sovereign perspective. Don’t bother trying to find solutions right now, just focus on building the “energy” of connection related to the sovereign solution. By doing PPP regularly you are setting the energetic template for change and evolution to occur. Then evolvement will spontaneously occur in the “space” you have cleared.

Connecting with the Self dissolves the false self-idendity and reveals the narcissistic nature of most of our compensatory projects and agendas. The three paths to the intuitive sovereign core are Self-remembering, Self-surrender and Self-acceptance. Authenticity opens the door to our true Self such that we fully experience our unique “I” and that our identity is a "given" so attempting to create it is futile.

In the beginning stages of penetration and transcendence of the culturally created ego cocoon we may encounter a crucial event that will demand us to show up as Self. It is then that we may realize that we are not yet a “person,” but merely the husk of our resistance to all that in life which would encroach on our personal will and threaten our élan vital and soul. For me this event was a one hour meeting of the love of my life on the beach path in Santa Barbara. I lost him in that one hour because I could not transcend the false self for I had no idea that I “was it!” It was that tragedy that made me realize that I wasn’t yet real and that I was composed of the pain of the past and fictions on how to solve/save the world. While avoiding the very real personal challenge, the challenge of actually “meeting” someone that I resonated with to the depths of my soul. We can’t actually “meet” anyone while still unconsciously encased in our defensive cocoon composed of millions of years of trauma. Making that breakthrough however can redeem our souls and heal us from all the suffering that we and our ancestors have undergone. By breaking open we finally get to meet life!

Our DNA has been stunted through the process of armies of bestial mankind run by intelligent wolves, who kill off the intellectica every few generations. Also there has been a selective modulation of the cultural store of knowledge to essentially hide (into occult vaults in the Vatican and Pentagon) those scientific discoveries and cosmic illuminations which would lead to the decentralization of power and abundance for all. For example the blasphemous statement that Nature is God and that each of us is a sovereign center of the Universe. It is humanities inherent greed in combination with the intergenerational accumulation of power within greed-cabals and exploitive unions that has lead to a prison planet of slaves in which sovereignty and cosmic genius (holiness) have been outlawed. This is so because we have not yet transcended the fear-based culture to establish the healthy "personal" level through which the cultivation of sovereignty allows the benign, beneficent and the glorious in humanity to come into being. When we reach this point, the mystic civilization will autopoetically come into being...spontaneously and synchronistically just like Universe herself.

The decentralization of power is necessary for sovereignty. Sure, but that's only the first step. The recentralization of personal power around a new center, is the next step. Failing this second step, sovereignty suffers dilution, and eventually, dissolution.

"The decentralization of power is necessary for sovereignty. Sure, but that's only the first step. The recentralization of personal power around a new center, is the next step."

No these are the SAME step.

Sovereignty is not ever gained through manipulating the outside world...it is impossible to build the inner core through external means alone. Sovereignty of the individual and the development of a culture that honors the true nature of Man and allows him to evolve naturally is primarily an inside job. Then and only then does anything shift to a higher energy valence in the outer condition and the world at large. The individual must first set their internal self right with their energetic orientation to Being, existence and the Cosmos...then the divine Kingdom comes. When you change your energy vibration the DNA changes and gives the body a new enlightened template to follow. As a result of a change in on the inside toward the Radiant Heart your outside environment changes and so that you are supported both inside and outside yourself.

The practice of the sovereign state IS transcending the unsanity of the presovereign culture. But you have to become conscious of the unsanity and work your way through it with the sovereign "I" to fully realize it is unjustified, misguided and totally without substance. We need a compassionate, careful and in depth critique of the human condition in order to become wholesome, productive, and sane. For we cannot “right” ourselves if we do not clarify what we are doing “wrong.” The "little person" who is still trying to cling to others dependently/aggressively will be threatened by the notion of a world with no violence and violation of sovereignty. But they will get it too if you remain firm in the philosophy and energy of sovereignty, and show them how to be in the world without harming themselves or others. For a certain period you may have to batten down the hatches and avoid the invasion of your world by others until you have built a certain amount of sovereign heat and stabilized your new neural pathways. Any genuine Self building practice will aid in the emergence and sustainability of this powerful evolutionary mode of being. You do not have to preach and tell them about sovereign principles for this will largely be counterproductive and cause a more aggressive cocoon response. When people realize that their subversive, parasitic or predatory moves do not work on you, then they will look again and perhaps learn. Others in the daily power trip world will shift most quickly if you simply present yourself as an example of the sovereign state.

“Humankind cannot bear very much reality.” T. S. Eliot
The sovereign man can tolerate reality and has a great love for the Real.

The sovereign state that we're both trying so desperately to articulate is a state of mind, not a state of nature. It's a feeling, not a condition. The feeling meets every new condition or circumstance without being affected. Thus the feeling molds the circumstance and not vice versa. That's the goal, is it not? Otherwise, we're just dust at the mercy of the wind. That is, in a situation which tends to elicit precisely the feeling of helplessness that we hope to avoid.

Is avoidance what this is all about? Or are we longing for something here? I always tend to think that it's better to be running toward something rather than away from something. Yet the fact that sovereignty needs all this flushing out and helplessness needs no explanation, makes me suspicious that we're just running away from something.
