Ok, this must surely be the last pitfall to sovereignty and key to Borgsville. Angry

After this I will only speak about the sunny side of life angel

The Overwhelming Rigidity of Being—Dissociative rigidity may be regarded as a coping mechanism to reduce spontaneity and establish a sense of control over our internal fragmentation and ease the demand to assimilate random activity. Some of the symptoms of this inertia coping mechanism include: neurotic lack of variety, resistance to novelty and change, isolation, alienation, automatic limiting thoughts, risk avoidance, narrow decision making, petty impulsiveness, inevitable boredom and a lack of clear responsiveness to higher needs and life goals. Rigidity is a subordinates coping mechanism, often generated by trauma or loss very early in life that reduces the development of the cerebellum…the motor coordination area at the back of the brain. Some of the other symptoms that go along with this complex are: contrary pleasure principle, self-exclusion, double binds, paradoxical intent, thwarted will, damned it you do-damned if you don’t, numbing through substances, anaesthetizing bliss, resistance to movement and coming alive to reduce feeling, atrophication of exploratory impulse, putting off life till tomorrow, disinterest in emotional engagement and inflexibility to changing trajectory in the light of new information. Basically the impulse to life gets shut down.

Rigidity is tantamount to rebellion or running from full awareness through suppression, denial, and repression. Rigidity is one of the main structures of crystallized karmic residue of the ego armor. It is an expression of the inexorable gravity of our unconscious, myopically embedded in conditioned existence and the imprints of past experience. We focus on familiar crutches to avoid exposing ourselves to circumstances that elicit growth. It is a lot easier for us if we allow change and adjust and adapt more fluidly to ever changing reality…with each moment as the teacher. We can methodically work to overcome rigidity by expanding our capacity to meet new demands. Throughout the day consistently remember to call yourself back to lucid awareness, using the breath to enliven the sense of realness and authenticity, to overcome closure, traumatic fixity and dissociative rigidity. Rest in the present through sensory enrichment rather than indulgence…trust and don’t doubt yourself…learn to be motivated by the senses and intuition beyond the mind. The heart and solar plexus brains can be green lighted to motivate us to respond in spontaneous flow and free us from our cage of closure.

Besides cognitive and body rigidity those with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD may exhibit such symptoms as drooping posture, hyperkinesis, violently propulsive gait, tremor at rest, masklike faces, low emotional affect, gastric distress, urinary incontinence, mutism, and a violent startle reflex. A key step in overcoming cognitive rigidity is to see things from different perspectives and develop a mental habit of curiosity. Loosening the body through yogic methods brings greater flexibility to the mind and a freeing of perspective and habits. We must come alive and raise our élan vital in order to keep up with the divine life flow which always desires the ultimate for us.

Great talk by the awesome Goddard over at occultofpersonality.net

He points out that if everyone was accepted by their peer group there would be no evolution. For the sensitive, rejected child is thrown back on themselves to a life of introspection...leading to the growth of the imagination, novelty and creativity. Thus rejection when turned to the positive is fortuitous as it forces us into the inner life of the writer, poet, sage or scientist. It is also interesting that those individuals that are more evolved are often the ones who are rejected, for their heightened awareness is an irritation on the comfort zone of those operating at a lower frequency. Thus we see a pattern here for the generation of the sensitive genius through a painful, default mechanism inherent in our social model. The next step in our cultural evolution however will be to consciously be aware of this phenomena...to be on the lookout for genius and heightened awareness and instead of rejecting it...support these individuals in living and learning communities where they can be both fully themselves and in an "inclusive" rather than rejecting social environment.

Due to the way we have developed our use of technology…in the last 10,000 years, in some ways we have evolved and devolved simultaneously. We undershot our potential through undermining the life principle, while simultaneously making humanitarian and technological gains. The problems we face in the world today radiate out from a central cause…our diet!
The progression of humanities descent goes something like this:
Increase in cereals, animal products and cooked food—increased cellular inflammation—Adrenals overactivated generating fatigue—pancreas declines weakening digestion—Reduced mineral absorption and use—Lowered enzymes and toxin buffering—Metabolic syndrome, Obesity, Degenerative disease, Psychosocio-emotional decline. This metabolic breakdown reduces sentience and generates the Borg symptoms of: frustration, anger, excluding ie: clan building, compulsive-addiction, confused, conformist, dissociated, weak, obsequiousness follower, with limited senses and cut off from soul and cosmos. As a species we are not living up to our God given genetic potential due to errant metabolism from our cultural habits of biological necrosis and our unenlightened use of technology that is harmful to life in subtle and overt ways. This is the secret to our contractive “Fall” and thus the secret to our renaissance and resurrection.

Psychology and Physiology are ultimately one. Matter, mind and spirit can only be separated in the abstract. In reality they are not separate and Gnosis is simply their correct alignment. Matter, mind, spirit and indeed the Universe itself are composed of consciousness, and consciousness “matters.” We link into superconsciousness by overcoming rigidity, chaos and entropy to cohere to zeropoint. That is we must enter a resting, receiving, coherent or low noise state in order to arrive at cosmic consciousness or gnosis. Since our tacit sense of right and wrong, good and bad, truth and false are achieved via this inner integration, this does not bode well for humanity, in that we are experts at screwing up the very foundations of life itself. The exclusionary, mythic and belief based religions are also a major spanner in the works in terms of collectively coming to a sane arrangement on how to live together peaceably and create a planet conducive to humanization and the evolution of life.

Because of humanities tendency to schism itself from the nature of reality itself (through bification, polarization, exclusion, rigidity, numbing, denial, ignorance, compartmentalization, idealism, belief, fantasy, wishful thinking and bad will etc….) our collective wisdom on how to manage our technology has not yet caught up with our technical capacity. To a degree we have given the job of “the decider” to the Homunculi of the free market. So we have a system based on extractive industries and exploitive capitalism basically piloting the ship. Thus unless there is a spiritual, moral evolution of each individual…there are no brakes on the mindless capitulation to capitalize on the capital punishment of Gaia.

Only full sentience and whole humanness can reinstate our naturally universally moral condition, so we have to face the obvious fact that an unsustainable, morally corrupt culture, cannot create morally sane individuals…because the whole system is losing lifeforce consciousness and integrity. This puts a new spin on the nature of health care and what “care” actually is. In reality it is the lack of inner cohesion and correct alignment of matter, mind and spirit that creates the inner violence, the inner divorce and dys-integration which allows the continuity of pathological social regimes. It is worth noting that the Navi in the movie Avatar simply acknowledged the obvious perception of the already magical universe. Their spirituality required no faith and hence they were the ultimate rationalists. They didn’t concoct a separate abstract Mysterium, but their divinity, lucidity, power and nobility came directly from the direct perception of Universe herself. That is spirituality without the egoic agenda. There is such a thing as evolutionary dead ends reflecting dead ends in consciousness that life no longer has the energy to support. Thus we begin to see the path back to the noble human is one of discarding all that is false and counter to the life process. The greatest new frontier for humanity is “humanization.”

Our technology can obviously be used for both good or evil depending on our level of wisdom and moral good. In overhauling our human design systems we must create benign tools for benign ends. This in itself requires full sentience, cosmic ethos and pathos, presight, oversight, lifecycle and continuum repercussions analysis, and a universal code of ethics similar to a combination of the Natural Step, The American Constitution and the Star Trek Mission Code. For every crutch and external means we use to generate a sense of power at the expense of presence, ultimately works toward our own downfall, and the downfall of those we touch in community. Therefore “presence” or divine illumination is the hub of sustainable society building and humanization itself. Pre-sence implies that the whole is entirely present in any of its parts. In the holographic universe, consciousness is like an infinite "quantum soup" in which all parts are connected all the time. There is one spirit flowing throughout…mirror neurons, mirror cells, mirror light, mirror qualia…mirror evolution. In fact “mirror evolution” might be the next buzz phase for the post material society. “I see you” means, I see my Self in you! Realization begins when I see my Self in the entire universe and the onset of presence empowerment occurs when we include our Self in the All.

Maya matters...we can at the very least perfect the physical on route to the eternal.

What is the star trek constitution called, I can't find it???

THE ORGAN OF CIVILIZATION
Just started The New Executive Brain: Frontal Lobes in a Complex World by Elkhonon Goldberg. This is an awesome, thrillingly personal book. As Goldberg describes his early life in Russia I was struck with the similarity between the fear and complexity of the circumstances he experienced through living in a totalitarian regime...finding it remarkably similar to the fear and paranoia building in the United States under  laissez-faire capitalism (Darwinian fascism). Using Goldberg's observation of what he termed "political autohypnosis" we can begin to see that the Borg is a defense mechanism that arises when living under any form of tyranny. This autohypnosis is comprised of a constant dissonance between the need to maintain politically correct speech obsequent to the oppressor and the deeply felt discontent of the “human spirit” that is suppressed.

All those living under pathological power systems that leave the individual unable to truly flourish in supporting life and to follow their deepest calling and express their greatest truth…remain as children, aborted in their deep humanity.  What if the culture actually supported our highest potential, supported our highest good, and our true expression in the service of others. Let us make “humanity true to its potential” our primary pursuit and our highest aspiration. No one can give us our humanity and our sovereign adulthood, we must claim it for ourselves, by “including” ourselves most intimately in the continuum of life – regardless of the madness of the current zeitgeist. The era of escapism into low self-esteem and playing it small is over. We can no longer go unconscious and be silent while our mega-systems undermine evolution itself. We are each responsible for bringing out the good and the God in ourselves and so set about creating heaven on earth.

In Charles Eisenstein's book, “The Ascent of Humanity,” he attributes the wasteland of modern society, empty consumption and lonely people to “separation.” Separation from each other, separation from the biosphere and even separation from the universe that created us. He says this illusion of separation is engine of suffering, the cause of the convergence of crises and the root of all evil. This distancing process started with the establishment of language, symbolism and abstraction…so we can see that it is through the primitive misuse of our highest human cognitive functions that we have gone off the rails, or come to the end of this particular misuse of our powers as a species. It was our sense of removal of spirit from matter through abstract rationality and suppression of emotions, psi and empathy that lead to the division of the secular and the sacred and forced the need for a Mysterium or abstract Sky God born out of the need for reconnection. It is ironic that civilization as we have known it causes this separation, and is thus dehumanizing - that is until we create a culture of reunion rather than one of separation. It is time to come home. Science itself is going full circle from Cartesian reductionism back to a reenchantment of the Universe as we explore the finer details of the mystery. With such things as entanglement, nonlocality and superluminality we are pulling rationality and awe up to the heights of spirit and the event horizon of the knowable.

Our sense of Self is evolving, while the world of the disconnected self is falling apart, thus allowing the birth of a deeper realization of the sacred in all things. The old separate self isn’t working anymore…neither in terms of flatland science or religions based on an abstract Mysterium. From the ruins of these dissociative paradigms that lie at the heart of our separation the age of reunion, resurrection and restitution is arising. In seeing the big picture of the emergence of the new human we can avoid unnecessary pain should we try to resist the inevitable. With conscious choice and proactive creativity we can navigate this huge transition back to the core human and on into a beneficent future. Only Universe, not our limited self knows how to make a whole human. Conditioning happens, but we can reach beyond being merely reactive in compliance or resistance to our environment. To start operating from the hub where body, mind and soul meet…and thereby align with the self-organizing force of Universe herself.

To get there, we must as Charles Eisenstein says, deschool ourselves. The habits of civilization that constitute the Borg or the separated humanoid are driven by the poles of that classic dichotomy: good/evil, reward/punishment. A system of control that is kept in place from cradle to grave through shame, guilt, fear of abandonment and rejection and fear of death. Embedded in this dualistic worldview our happiness is reliant on the satisfaction of our needs for acquisition and comfort, and conversely on the avoidance of suffering and abandonment. This is the war within and without that builds the structures of slavery and rebellion, submission and defiance. To transcend the gravity of this ongoing social warfare we must reconcile the opposites within and to really discover in our hearts what it is that we actually “do want.” This is done on all levels from subatomic transmutation to action and redemptive action in the world. To learn to know what we want we have to defrag, detox, rest, listen and integrate the head, heart and the entire organism into the knowledge of divine will. Clarifying our will as distinct from all forms of external control without the burden of performing for an authority figure or trying to please others at the expense of our own truth.

i would agree with almost everything said in that post. for those that are awake enough it is easy to see that "seperation" is just an illusion, from the micro to the macro levels. where did this illusion come from and when did it first arise? the capabilities that give us the higher cognitive powers also brought with it the sense of ego, the small self. are they mutually arising or can the ego be transcended? is the egoic intellect equally as useless as the soma of the small self trying to satiate itself thru whatever means possible?

i like that he is optimistic about the future of this evolving by what he calls deschooling, which sounds a lot like the "uncarved block" of zen or the essence of Tao.

Rather than deschooling I think Charles is really talking about trans-schooling. Trans-schooling is when we take what we have been given in our less self-possessed, less conscious years and we find the patterns, beliefs, emotions and responses in us that our holding us back...then we defragment, build presense and replace those  life-negating modes of consciousness with that which is more aligned with our sovereign Self and our higher destiny. This is taking self-determinancy to superhuman levels, for what passes as "normal" will is simply reactivity for or against apparent reality. Until we approach sovereignty we have little ability for the actual "creative" engagement of our world...for we are compulsively engaged in the great compensatory journey born of the deprivation of the Self.

Do we even know our own truth? The punishment/reward conditioning from infancy we receive in this material based competitive society is the cause of addiction, compulsiveness, acquisitiveness and even our search for God (good) through religion. Instead of being taught security in self-love we are manipulated into conformity and submission by comparison with other siblings, school or work mates. Having been denied a self, it then takes a lifetime to build a Self to figure out what we really want. Most of us never do find our sovereign core, instead we may try to kill the pain of separation by service to others in the hopes of finding some self worth and substance. Our compensatory dharma however merely enables and perpetuates the culture of dehumanization. Had we been granted “goodness” (God) through affirmation of our unconditional worth and sovereign entity from the beginning, then our entire lives would not be one huge meaningless journey to compensate for the pain of the loss of Self and our flailing efforts to patch together a human heart before we die.

If we look at the neurology of the emotional repression, self-lobotomy and self-rejection that lie at the heart of the Borg condition, we see the cause of cultural collapse. We see the underlying mechanism of our self-destruction as a species and how we create our brains that perpetuate conditions than undermine humanization and the truth of who we really are. Without sovereignty there is no self-discipline, self-executive action, no impulse control, no maturity, no freedom or truth and no real joy. The pleasure/pain principle, our prefrontal lobes and the dopamine D2 receptors are the primary keys to opening the vice of our species past, present and future karma.

The Borg condition is largely a prefrontal lobe deficiency syndrome...where the "human" faculties haven't yet been switched on.

• Bindu Meditation—The soul’s pilot light, or helm of sovereignty by which we reign ourselves into a coherent unit is not at the third eye, but is at the center of the top of the forehead.  Without coherency there is no growth, depth or maturity. The tongue is dropped into the belly to turn on the parasympathetic nervous system switch and the closed eyes are turned up towards the pilot seat at the hair line. When the eyeballs are focused on the apex like this you can sense or see the capstone of the pyramid with the Eye of Horus within. Use the Thymus Light Sword and focus on the soul’s pilot light in the same meditation for synergistic effects.

• Virtual Reunion—To help soften the heart and eliminate subliminal sadness and closure we can feel-imagine meeting the significant others in our life. This is great done in the bath, in bed or a special place in nature where you can be alone. Start off with the person you love the most and imagine the time and place you would meet this particular person and give them a virtual hug. Allow your heart to experience the full cascade of emotion, don’t cut it short and move onto the next person until you feel a sense of resolution and balance. You can do this with deceased relatives, family, friends, enemies or anyone you feel a sense of separation and noncompletion with. It could take you days or years to process just one person so don’t hurry. The fact that you are seeking reunion and the rejoining of love is what matters. The whole world will feel your virtual reunion practice…of unconditional love and acceptance and the return to the heart.

my understanding is that in a sufficiently ripe sanctified bodymind, one's tongue stimulating the soft palate can release the celestial dew/amrita from the bindu/pineal, infusing the lucky person with sat/chit/ananda/rapture/healing etc. ... No clue about the tummy tongue ticklin' tantra; could be a dual cultivation thingy Woo Hoo!

My autogenius yoga is different from the practices devised by men for sympathetic nervous system activation. Dropping the muscles at the back of the tongue, so that the jaw tension is unleashed is a requisite component of most of my awakening/sovereignty/visionary practices. It is an effective means of immediately turning off sympathetic hyperdrive and dropping monkey mind. You should notice your stomach gurgling within minutes as the digestive system is activated by the parasympathetic. Since the Borg is glued together through dissociated Betawave Left-brain busyness we fail to get the hyper-relaxation necessary to drop fully into our subterranian layers to come into our full Self. Dropping the tongue into the belly and breathing is the fastest and surest way of breaking through the contraction and anxiety that constitute surface living.

• Off Switch—To come out of fight/flight and into the parasympathetic off switch...you drop your tongue into your belly...focus “peace” into the brainstem...while doing the Inner Smile...and warm throaty breaths into the solar plexus. The parasympathetic allows rest, recovery, healing, growing and visioneering.

Balance involves the harmonious FLOW of opposites. The masculine side provides the power and focus to master your energies. The feminine side will provide the ability to listen to the intuitive guidance that is spontaneously forthcoming in every situation. "Wisdom is the power to play with opposites" Roberto Assagioli
