Hey, did anybody else listen to this discussion in the Feminine Power series, with Lucia Renee:  Unplugging from the Patriarchy.... It was really very captivating for me.....

According to Lucia, the only way we as a species are going to generate the solutions necessary to deal with the political, economic and environmental crisis now facing us, is if women today take on deep and sacred task of unplugging from the Patriarchy, both within and without.

And yet I hear this also

Only in the initiation of men into the sacred masculine will there be hope for our planet.

I'm guessing both are right and to "save us" we need "all of us" , women and men to work together. Patriarchy is stereotypical and I don't deny its destructive influences on the dark side, but there probably is a dark side to matriarchy as well.
I have only opinions on this as I have very little actual patriarchal power. I am a father yes, but as far as influence and control over the course of events in the work place in hiring people or management for example, or even the bigger patriarchal power plays in politics and legislation for example, I have zero influence.

Its really good to see influential women speaking out and having a big influence on this.I hope things are changing for the better.

Patriarchy is dark and Matriarchy is light ? Or the other way around? Or both are the ying and yang for each other?

The foundational principle of sovereign rule is that the use of the prefrontal lobes in the sovereign evokes neither the slave nor the slave driver. Thus we must overcome the basic dynamic of dominance and submission that we have been programmed with for millions of years in order to arrive at True Will…where the personal and the universal become one. We may think we have volition, but personal choice can be merely the internalization of external control dynamics. The non-sovereign superego involves the drama of the tyrant-bully and submissive-manipulator, played out on the inner and the outer stage. Until the sovereign flame is ignited and cultivated at the “Uraeus” we have not yet achieved sovereignty, royalty, deity and divine authority. And until we achieve sovereignty we do not really love ourselves, or allow our Self to flourish in the cosmic sense of the word. Instead we treat ourselves as others have treated us, as a resource to be used and abused according to the ego’s whim and compulsive need. Until sovereignty is initiated and cultivated we merely play out the roles and behaviors we have absorbed from the descended prepersonal culture throughout our lives. These may be increasingly mature and “well adjusted” but ultimately these programs are cruel to the Self for they keep us from the divine will, genius, highest destiny and the greatest thrill of all…the Universal Self. Remember to be well adjusted to insanity is not sane.

In Taoism “hundun” the original formlessness is prior to differentiation into Yin and Yang. Thus the non-dualistic Original Mind is the egalitarian ocean birthing maleness and femaleness, self and other. Aequanimus balance involves the harmonious FLOW of apparent opposites. The masculine provides the focus and power to master our energies. The feminine provides the ability to listen to the intuitive guidance that spontaneously arises in every situation.

The lunar is the matrix from which the solar radiates...consciousness and All emerges out of the void. In transcending punitive control systems let us not to use divisive language or sales ploys that divide the sexes still further. Men suffer under the default mechanisms of power-over that we call the patriarchy just as much as women. Hardened, brutalized and drugged they are kept from the knowledge of the  embrace of the great Mother Love within their hearts. If women set about evolving apart from men, we just perpetuate unnecessary violence, bereavement and misunderstanding...and fail to build the language of bridges. Giving a gift of love to heal inner tensions has been with us as a species for millions of years.

In order to become sovereign, both men and women have to move beyond the paradigm of incalcitrant power-over, and transcend the force of egoic-will marked by stubborn resistance to and defiance of divine authority or gnostic guidance. In our disconnected culture, both men and women are in equal need of grounding with the earth energies, alkalinizing with the negative ions of nature, detoxification of the putrifaction of the byproducts of industry. The human body, whether male or female needs to be warmed and illuminated by the rays of the sun, remineralized by the rocks of the earth and enlivened by the raw juices of plants. Both men and women are in equal need of awakening the divine masculine and feminine within and thereby come into their full sacred power. As halves of a whole, we must find our Selves in each other through embracing the wholeness within. The superposition of the polar opposites in sympathetic resonance is simply the truth of “hundun” beyond our temporary schisms and distortions of “What Is.”

The peaks, valleys and the freak waves are there to ensure that we sail into an ever brightening sun. If we keep our eyes on the horizon, there is little that can distract us from our course.

Unplugging from the Patriarchy

Maybe transforming the Patriarchy would be a better way.
But I guess you need to unplug to get a better sense of who you are.
Unplugging is a sexual reference also between men and women.
I prefer to be plugged in! 

The New Age esoteric stuff of chakras and dharma is all well and good.
At the end of the day though for the average Jill and Joe in America its survival and keeping your job and a roof over your head.
I think much of this plays out in career and the work environment.
Its a power struggle as to who pulls the strings and calls the shots also.
A lot of abuse still happening to women...and men and in subversive and stealth ways that's harder to put your finger on.
In Afghanistan its obvious, throwing acid in the faces of women who reject a males advances. Not good by any standard.
In an office in Chicago full of women with a female manager where the one man on the team is referred to as the "token male",
its subtle put downs professionally and personally that erode slowly away at that person.

Enduring massive damage from petty toxicity in the work place due to infantile power dynamics is how I arrived at seeing that the entire degenerative complex undermining of the humanizing process and the consequent "fall of mankind" and the collapse of civilization is caused by primate power-status brain damage. Not only is this ab-use the cause of untold unnecessary suffering, it is literally the major force of the slowing of human evolution and is actually devolving the species back into an ill, aberrant ape. If we do not begin a major global education and retraining program around the sociopathology of power-abuse, we will not be able to activate the visionary, creative, regenerous capacities of the prefrontal lobes in order to transform to a non-terminal culture. Instead of using our vital energies and wits to protect ourselves from the ubiquitous sickness of an unawakened social realm with its delinquent social-power systems…we could all be actualizing our deep humanity and fulfilling the potential of the greatest wonder in the universe…the awe of the experience of being truly human.

Transformation requires learning new information and letting go of the old. Grief is a necessary part of growth, for we have to die to the former self. In growing from the repressed world of the Borg to the multidimensional, supersensory world of the full human we have to learn to be comfortable with the unknown. As we start to embody our deeper self, that which was unconscious to us becomes conscious. Learning to integrate this increased psi, sensation, insight, intuition, creativity, gnosis and investigative ability requires a loving, spacious goodwill. We become more of our own friend as we move away from that which is harmful to us and transcend influences that we don’t want. We naturally expand and lubricate our self-regulating superego to be more liberal and caring. Deeper guidance and closer alignment with the truth emerges along with greater love and awareness. The peaks, valleys and the freak waves are there to ensure that we sail into an ever brightening sun. If we keep our eyes on the horizon, there is little that can distract us from our course.

DEBORGING THROUGH LIFE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
In the excellent documentary on youtube "Ayahuasca, The Snake and I," Dr Jacques Mabit who founded a drug addiction treatment centre in Peru says that healing involves the need to accept the unacceptable, to capitulate and give up the ego boosting pride that seeks to control and know everything. Both healing and evolution are the same thing and necessitate the loosening the grip of the conditioned mind and overcoming a “refusal to live” that is caught within imprints (engrams) of trauma or resistance to what is. Dr Mabit says that Western culture has destroyed the meaning of the sacred and this absence of a spiritual dimension produces a lack of meaning in life, which can lead to drug-addiction and a general defeat or disillusionment with life itself. The foundations of sovereignty or the structure of the Borg begins early in life.

When we don’t get our spirit acknowledged through loving eye-to-eye and heart-to-heart in infancy…then bonding in adulthood tends to be problematic. If our brains are exposed to isolation and lack of affection/attention in the first 5 years...it can lead to making human interaction painful and stressing throughout life. While social estrangement can produce greater gifts of the deeper Self, we may have to dig deeper to break through the shell of deprivation to find new ways of seriously “coming out” and deborging. The interesting thing with doing the sovereignty work is that, as we get deeper into the work, the demands of consciousness accelerate and genuine “thawing” becomes ever more necessary. However we simply cannot use the same shape-it-up, punishment/reward systems of self-persuasion we have used in the past, but must enter a more loving relationship with the Self and find what it needs from the inside on how to unwind out of the husk that we have made of ourselves. We may look to the outside for methods, companionship, reassurance or assistance in doing this work, but ultimately “reparenting” is an inside job. The higher Self will grow from within if we simply get out of the way and give it enough room, fresh air and energy to do so.

This rebirthing process is silent but far from static and it involves increasing tolerance for information processing and emotional integration. The cerebellum comprises of 50% of the neurons in the brain and is linked to the prefrontal cortex in way that is thought to contribute to complex planning. If the cerebellum has been fractured by negative mothering…”No don’t do that, because I say so!”…then the prefrontal lobes find it hard to take the pilot seat and declare sovereignty over ones own life and destiny. There is thus a lot of work (play) involved in recovering our soul from the closure, ignore-ance and madness of the Borg. If the nervous disposition is adequately mothered (soothed and unblocked), through rhythmic, serpentine, spiraling 360° motion, it unthaws and is able to "remember" its true fluid state and hold its charge without having to numb out.

The emergence period requires daily dearmoring practice of physical, emotional and spiritual exercises, so that we do not clamp down and fall back on our defense/retreat mechanisms. As the tension between spiritual waking and sleep (opening and closing) increases, the beauty of having an actual daily deborging practice is that we can then remember to focus on that, and resist the temptation to blame the world for keeping us in our crippling cocoon. As we start to thaw out the pain of unborn is felt through the numbness and with this new sensory perception there is grief. Deep, pure atomic grief around the lost life we have been carrying around within us that was never able to express. However we cannot hold onto the grief, but must fluidly move through the serpentine emergence of the soul to the green, fresh, pulsating vibrancy beyond.

Deborging involves enriching the brain and creating neurogenesis around liberating our executive functions to engage in life-enhancing behavior and directions. It is getting serious about the notion that if we are for our Self, then nobody else will be for us either. Deborging is giving ourselves license to grow up…to grow up and beyond what normally passes for “normal” in the prepersonal culture we live in. For women whose self-worth has been programmed along the lines of losing ourselves in the needs of others…the step towards Selfhood can feel like going out on a limb and walking away from the clan. Indeed we may be ostracized for showing up…but if we do not arrive in this world to bring harmony and balance to the out-of-control unconscious masculine, there is little hope for genuine social evolution for the species. In a world where the potential for love is so vast, we cannot let inner or outer violence win by continuing to shut down and submit to the status quo of war and sleep.

This sovereignty awakening book will help reinforce the humanity of those already seeking an out, but it can't help those without the prefrontal lobes or the desire to want to get out of the Borg. Left to its own devises Borg may indeed be stronger than the human spirit, for it attacks us from atoms to soul...and the entire human global system is borgated...few can escape with their lives. When looking at the big picture we see the best we can do is to deborg our own life as much as possible...a myriad of simple things like reducing the fat in out diet so our receptors get a fair go, and to stop eating Californian almonds for they are now pasteurized. Every day we can reduce the life destroying phenomena a little, and increase the life-loving thoughts, words and deeds. Deborg Thyself...let fear go!

Because of our fear of death, underlying our fear of abandonment, we have gone along with pathological social arrangements for eons, without questioning their validity. When society is based on sovereignty we can enjoy each other in freedom, and empower each other without fear of losing each other. We no longer need to huddle together in crippling bonds that undermine the true uncanny power of the species. We no longer need to slowly kill ourselves in order to maintain the social glue of mutual enfeeblement. When we are sovereign we can break away from patterns of joint addiction that breed insanity and moral decrepitude generation after generation. Leadership, whether it be our own prefrontal cortex or a ruler in community, must serve the vital living tree above all else, and turn away from comfortable patterns of decay that betray our very existence. We have but one master…love and the lifeforce that causes through our veins.

Least we steep ourselves in ‘problemocracy’…any worldview biased towards seeing “the people” as being herded like sheep throughout history does have an element of truth, however, it is also disempowering to perceive “the people” as being perpetual victims, with no personal choice or free will to determine their own destinies. The clinical, harsh, super-objective historical point of view is refreshing to get a clear picture of the larger forces at play, but the heart demands that this be tempered with a respect for the colossal suffering of the evolutionary struggle and with the broad vision of the slow emergence of consciousness and moral fortitude.
