Bush and Cheney remind me of Laurel and Hardy.

I remember when Cheney got drunk one morning and shot his friend in the face with a shotgun. I thought; this is the perfect metaphor for how these guys are running the country.

That administration was a real low point in American history. Gave us a black eye. They didn't know any better. Sad really.

I am just pissed the US was regressing while I was in the country. Undecided But then I wouldn't have anything to write about if it wasn't. Lips Sealed

The point being can we let go of that dysfunction caused by the acting out of the dying dominant/submissive mode? Can we move beyond our resistance and disillusionment caused by the insanity of dysfunctional systems? Can we gather the energy and faith needed to create a world that makes sense, even as the Machine fights back against our new found hope? We have to, for we have no choice but to live a life of joy and creation if we value our humanity. We can appreciate the Disneyland of consumerism we have created, and then go on to a world that fosters infinite depths of humanism. If we can stabilize the neurochemistry for scintillating transcendental vision in our daily lives then we can win out over the closure of human spirit. This redemption requires the regeneration of the earth, destressing and recovery of our élan vital, synchronization and use of both hemispheres, increased development of the prefrontal cortex and the cultivation of our visionary heart-brain. Ever expanding sovereignty of the individual is the answer to all human woes and the salvation of our planet.

What effect does increased methane in the gulf have on arctic weather coming down, and hurricanes coming up?  Does methane increase or decrease circulation?

hindu cosmology describes 4 yugas in which civilization declines from a golden age(Satya yuga) to a fourth Kali yuga (iron and gunpowder) of apocalyptic darkness. Looks like there is a worse fifth fossil fuel (slime) yuga that will take the best of the best of us to navigate pray

That's slick of you to say that Henry. I agree. Wasn't Yuga a car?

Was reading some comments of how proactive BP has been historically being alternative energy conscious and also careful with the environment. Don't laugh  ROFL It's true. I'll post the quote I found soon. It's very possible we have a Corporation here with a split personality or has schizophrenia...or just a two faced two timin' Global SOB  Beats me

Wait till the hurricanes come...it will be raining tar up the entire Eastern states...that is oil, methane and disperscents. It will get into the water table and into the aquifers. I wonder what the worst agent of destruction in this mix is.

So BP and Goldman Sacks etc…knew the rig was going to blow and they bailed.
*March 10—Due to cracks and gas leaks “We’re in the midst of a well control situation.”
* March 17—Since Tony Hayward disposed of 223,288 shares on March 17, BP’s share price has fallen by 30 per cent.
*April 20—Explosion of the rig.

Pray for the Dolphins to help....(I think he means pray for the Dolphins) Sad

The environmental impact is hard to measure but one thing is certain; 80% of the world’s dolphin population lives in the affected area of the Gulf of Mexico
and the whale population migrates to the region to have their babies there.

Life wouldn’t be the same without YouTube, now would it? And it certainly won’t be the same ever again for the sea creatures and people in the gulf states – if not the entire planet.

Take a look at the hurricane paths...this means that all states to varying degrees from Texas (and perhaps New Mexico) across to the east and right up to the great lakes will have their crops destroyed, animals/birds/fish etc...killed and water/soil poisoned. Not to mention the cost to human health.
http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/HAW2/english/history.shtml

Looks like we really are in for marshal law...its poetic justice that it is Monsanto's corn belt.
Also need to focus on Halliburton's (Cheneys) activities on the rig 4 days prior to the blow.
Note Bush bought property south of the equator in Argentina.

Apparently the methane will make the skies and the oceans red.

The Atlantic current is already dropped 20% in the last 50 years. If you look at the currents the water will be taken up to the arctic to kill the already struggling life up there...
The methane reduces the density of the water, it would hold more heat and thus resist sinking into the cold water undercurrents that circulate down to the equator again. This may indeed stop the Atlantic conveyor and cause an ice age...probably a mini one, perhaps 1500 years, like the Younger Dryas.

The black death may get over to the Caribbean and kill the coral which will leave the islands undefended by tsunamis and hurricanes.

If the vegetation kill gets to the point of forest die off then we get fires, increased CO2 released, erosion, dropped water tables and disruption of the entire water cycle towards rapid desertification. Lakes and rives will fail and silt up, massive floods will occur.

With the nutrient and water cycles destroyed and massive carcinogenic pollution everywhere...disease will run rampant and birth rates will fall. I think we are seeing a nice little cull unfolding in slow motion...of the little people mind you.

The next stupid thing we humans could do would be to surgically removed Iran's nuke facilities. Handshake

Hmm so it looks like BP won't go under.

I wonder if gas masks have been pouring in to the area?
