In a bizarre scenario in the SEcond lIfe irish bar, someone was talking about his love of native Indian music. So I posted yout youtobe links, I hope you don't mind.
The same person told me next day he had listened to your stuff, loved it and passed it on to a friend who also aprreciated it.
I have no idea who these people are, hope you don't mind me passing the word.

hi Liz...  that's cool that they checked it out. i have no problem with that.. that's why i put it out there.  there's also a link in the charity thread if they want to purchase a copy of the cd to help out the people on the pine ridge reservation.  i've sold a few copies, will probably never break even on the production costs, but it's nice to create something that will help someone else out.  since getting into the native american flute music i'm finding there are a lot of people overseas who are into it. the first one that sold for the charity was from a woman in germany.  and in another twist, i got a contact from england, another jim cook, who plays guitar and irish flutes, go figure   

wanted to thank you a while ago for posting that clip from snow patrol.. chasing cars... i ended up getting the cd and really like most of it..  another good cut off there is open your eyes.

Oh and excuse me, I just wondered, if those planes that hit the towers were actually military or private planes, then where did the commercial 747s go with their supposed passengers?

They must have been flown into Edwards airforce base or
Area 51 ...an area with alot of military land around it and no population base. Or they could have been flown off the coast of the US all together, perhaps to the marshalls or guam. Some military personal must have balked at this, and were cleaned up eh?

a cyber aquaintence friend of a friend asked if she could use some of my flute music as backgrounds for her eagle nest videos made from streaming video from a preserve.  she's working on a smoother version, the more people viewing the choppier it is.

This is hilarious Michael, thanks for posting this video. There are several things you can say about this actually. The first thing that came to mind was these old folks are probably the parents of the children who originally listened to "My Generation" when it was released in 1965, and had to put up with the rebellious message it gave to them as parents. Now they are saying "Are you neglecting me? Are you going to let me down in my old age?" And it may be more common place than we would want to admit for  some baby boomer's to do that (narcissism knows no bounds). I have noticed actually subclassifications of the baby boomer's. The first wave who came of age in the 1960's (Born late 40's early 50's) that I know are really domineering (I'm not saying they all are..but some of the folks I know), they (think) they know more than you, always have one up on ya. They are THE cats meow for being 17 years old when Sgt Peppers was first released.
